Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to products purchased through DigitalMall.ge, an online store operated by Digital Mall LLC.

This commercial warranty does not limit any mandatory consumer rights granted under the laws of Georgia. If any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory applicable law, the law will prevail.

1. Warranty Period and Coverage

  • The warranty period for each product is stated on the product page, order confirmation, or warranty document provided to the customer.
  • Unless the applicable warranty document states otherwise, the warranty period begins on the date the goods are delivered to the customer.
  • The commercial warranty applies within Georgia unless a different territory is stated in the relevant warranty document.
  • Warranty service covers the examination and handling of manufacturing or technical defects in accordance with applicable law and the relevant warranty terms.

2. Submitting a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, the customer should contact us through the contact details below and provide the order number, product name, description of the issue, and contact information.

Warranty service may require proof of purchase, a warranty document, or the product serial number. The loss of a document does not by itself remove the customer's statutory rights where the purchase can be verified by other means.

Where necessary, the product will be submitted to the relevant service center for diagnosis and service. The customer will be informed about the result and the next steps.

3. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods

If the goods are defective or do not conform to the contract, the customer may use the remedies available under Georgian law, including:

  • free repair;
  • replacement of the goods;
  • price reduction;
  • withdrawal from the contract where the legal requirements are met.

Repair or replacement must be completed within a reasonable period and without causing significant inconvenience to the customer. Where required by law, the company or the responsible party will cover the necessary costs of repair or replacement.

4. Situations Not Covered by the Commercial Warranty

The commercial warranty does not cover damage proven to have resulted from:

  • use of the product for a purpose other than its intended purpose;
  • failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions or storage requirements;
  • incorrect installation not performed by the company or an authorized specialist;
  • unauthorized repair, opening, or modification of the product;
  • mechanical damage, including breakage, cracking, dents, or scratches;
  • liquid, moisture, corrosion, or unsuitable temperature exposure;
  • power-grid, voltage, or other external factors;
  • viruses, incompatible files, or unlicensed software;
  • normal wear and tear or wear of consumable parts with a limited service life.

These limitations do not apply where the customer proves, or inspection establishes, that the problem was caused by a manufacturing defect or that the goods did not conform to the contract.

5. Accessories and Software

Certain accessories and consumable parts may be covered by separate or limited commercial warranty terms, as stated in the relevant warranty document or product conditions.

Software-related service is governed by the manufacturer's terms and the functionality of the product. Problems caused by unlicensed or incompatible software may be excluded from the commercial warranty.

6. Submitting Goods to a Service Center

When submitting a product to a service center, the customer should, where reasonably possible, provide the accessories necessary to test the reported issue. The absence of the original packaging does not by itself remove the customer's warranty rights.

Before handing over a device, the customer should back up or remove personal information. The company and service center are not responsible for loss of data stored on a device where the loss results from the nature of the service or repair.

7. Service Period

The period for reviewing a claim, diagnosing, repairing, or replacing a product depends on the nature of the goods, the complexity of the defect, the service center's findings, and applicable law.

The customer will be informed about the status of the claim and the planned next steps.

8. Rejection of a Warranty Claim

If inspection establishes that the issue is not covered by the commercial warranty, the customer will be informed of the reason. Before any paid diagnosis or repair begins, the customer will be informed of the estimated cost and the customer's consent will be required.
