The unit offers one stereo and two mono 3.5 mm inputs, one stereo 3.5 mm output, dual trim control knobs to set the optimum level of each channel, and a Mono/Stereo switch. Three integrated mounting shoes hold microphones or receivers, while the cold shoe with lock knob attaches the adapter to the camera's hot shoe. The SR-AX100 is fully passive, so it requires no batteries or external power. Its die-cast aluminium chassis is built to last, and it weighs just 153 grams.
