Description
The Canon RF 85mm F1.4 L VCM is a fast L-series prime lens for full-frame EOS R cameras, designed for hybrid photo and video shooting, portraits and weddings. Its optical design uses 14 elements in 10 groups, including one UD and one GMo aspherical element, while ASC and Super Spectra coatings plus a fluorine coating on the front element support high image quality. An 11-blade diaphragm combined with the F1.4 maximum aperture creates smooth, pleasing background blur. Autofocus is driven by a VCM motor, and the lens provides a control ring as well as an iris ring for video. The minimum focusing distance is 0.75 m, the filter diameter is 67 mm, dimensions are 76.5 x 99.3 mm and the weight is 636 g. The body is dust and moisture resistant, and the ET-73C lens hood and LP1219 pouch are included.
