Description
The Aqara Door and Window Sensor T1 (model DW-S03D) is a compact smart sensor that detects the open or closed state of doors, windows or cabinets in real time. It consists of a sensor unit and a magnet unit with a maximum detection distance of 22 mm. The sensor communicates over Zigbee 3.0, so it requires an Aqara hub, and it is set up and automated in the Aqara Home app. Use it for home security as well as for lighting and climate automation, for example turning the heating off when a window is opened. It is powered by a CR1632 battery and measures just 41 × 22 × 11 mm, making it almost invisible once installed. The sensor mounts with the included sticker and operates from -10°C to 45°C.
